What you will do:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Specialist to join our Travel Insurance team in Glastonbury, CT.
This role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive, integrated marketing campaigns — spanning digital, email, and traditional channels — that drive brand awareness, client acquisition, and revenue growth in the travel insurance sector.
The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of multi-channel marketing, key performance indicators, and data-driven strategies that align with and support organizational goals. Working cross-functionally with internal teams, external agencies, and distribution partners, the Senior Marketing Specialist will deliver compelling marketing programs and assets that promote Travel Insured and our travel insurance products.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of B2B and B2BC marketing.
This role has the flexibility to be on a hybrid schedule in our Glastonbury, CT office or be 100% remote (must be available to work EST hours).
What YOU will bring to C&F:
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, email, print, and traditional channels to promote Travel Insured International and its suite of products and services.
- Create and manage multi-channel marketing programs designed to drive lead generation, sales production, and customer retention.
- Develop and manage marketing assets required to support business partners including travel agency Consortia, Host agency and other travel partner distribution channels.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative market research to implement data-driven marketing campaigns and meet organization-wide strategic goals
- Develop strategies and targeted messaging tailored to distinct traveler personas and business partner audiences
- Develop marketing assets to support strategic events and trade show calendar to drive brand awareness with new prospects and accelerate existing opportunities.
- Manage brand resources and processes to ensure consistent brand delivery across all marketing materials and customer touchpoints — including message frameworks, visual assets, key terminology, and accurate data
- Develop and maintain brand messaging, value propositions, and positioning statements that clearly communicate the benefits and coverage options of travel insurance products
- Work with content authors and creative partners to ensure delivery of compelling marketing assets, including promotional materials, advertising (print & online) collateral, direct marketing emails, video, photography, and digital content
- Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, creative consultants, and partners — overseeing the quality and strategic alignment of their deliverables
- Investigate and foster engagement with new stakeholders, distribution partners, and emerging market segments
- Develop and maintain a centralized marketing calendar encompassing spotlight content, social media, and email campaigns — overseeing their full life cycle, including creative/copy development, data segmentation, and reporting/analysis
- Provide insight and analysis on the value and potential ROI of new marketing platforms and emerging marketing channels
- Establish, track and report on KPIs to measure marketing effectiveness, campaign performance, and ROI
- Utilize data analytics to gain actionable insights into customer behavior and campaign performance
- Conduct A/B testing and optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights
- Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and strategies, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, tourism, or a related field or equivalent experience is required.
- 5+ years of experience in a marketing role is required
- Experience is preferably in insurance, travel, or financial services
- Strong writing skills are required
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, Sharepoint) and familiarity with marketing tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic, fast paced environment is required
- Familiarity with content marketing and digital advertising is required
- Knowledge of travel booking platforms and customer journey mapping is preferred.
- Travel is required for this role (10%) and typically includes travel to CT/NJ at least once per quarter

Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $53,200 to a maximum of $100,000. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
