As a Sr Technical Program Manager, you will be the connective tissue between strategy and execution for three distinct software development teams. • Ensure alignment between engineering output and product requirements.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate risks and dependencies across teams to prevent bottlenecks.
  1. Agile Facilitation & Ceremonies
  • Schedule and drive all team ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Demos.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by using retrospectives to refine team velocity and quality.
  1. JIRA Power User & Process Architect
  • Own the configuration and hygiene of JIRA boards, workflows, and automation.
  • Establish standardized reporting structures (dashboards, burndown charts, and velocity trackers) to provide real-time visibility into work-in-progress (WIP).
  1. Backlog & Triage Leadership
  • Drive the request triage process, ensuring incoming bugs and feature requests are evaluated and routed efficiently.
  • Partner with Product Managers to lead backlog grooming and prioritization sessions, ensuring the engineering team is always working on the highest-value tasks.
  1. Communication & Visibility
  • Translate technical progress into clear status updates for stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project health, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical program/project management, specifically overseeing multiple software engineering teams.
  • Technical Fluency: A strong understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and the ability to engage in technical discussions with engineers.
  • JIRA Expertise: Advanced knowledge of JIRA/Confluence (configuring custom workflows, JQL, and reporting).
  • Agile Mastery: Deep experience with Scrum, Kanban, or Scrumban methodologies.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and the "social intelligence" to drive consensus among diverse stakeholders without direct authority.
