About the Role:

The Manager, Nurse plays a critical leadership role in overseeing nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care within healthcare facilities across the United States. This position is responsible for managing nursing teams, coordinating clinical operations, and implementing policies that promote patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations. The Manager, Nurse serves as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and administrative leadership to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment. They are instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives, staff development, and resource management to optimize patient outcomes. Ultimately, this role ensures that nursing services align with organizational goals and meet the evolving needs of patients and the healthcare community.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and patient care standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and coordinate clinical operations effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Certification in Nursing Management or Leadership (e.g., Nurse Executive Certification).
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare informatics.
• Proven track record of quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs.
• Familiarity with budget management and resource planning in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff performance to maintain high standards of patient care.
• Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate staffing schedules, manage resource allocation, and oversee daily clinical operations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care plans and resolve clinical issues.
• Facilitate ongoing education, training, and professional development opportunities for nursing personnel.
• Monitor patient care quality metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to improve outcomes.
• Manage budgets related to nursing services and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Serve as a point of contact for patient concerns and work to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
