Subject: Discussion Request: Access to SAP FMLA Workbench for Minnesota PFML Process
Description: ![CDATA[ User Details: Name: ========= Account Details: ClientCode:MPU UniversalID:R00037634 ========= Product Details: ProductLine:SAP Product:SAP HR/PAYROLL Module: Activity: ========= Description: I work closely with the Leaves Department, and together we have been reviewing our current process in preparation for the new Minnesota Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) requirements. Based on our research and benchmarking with other organizations that use the same SAP model as MPS, we believe there is an opportunity to significantly streamline our leave process.
Currently, the Minnesota PFML process is very manual and split between the Leaves Department and Payroll. To improve efficiency, consistency, and compliance, we would like to explore leveraging the SAP FMLA Workbench. We have also identified a comprehensive training guide that outlines the full capabilities and benefits of the FMLA Workbench, which appears to align well with our needs.
To move this forward, we are seeking guidance on the following:
* How the Leaves Department can gain access to the SAP FMLA Workbench * Which SAP role(s) would be required to support this access * Whether adding this functionality would result in additional costs to MPS within our current SAP model
We would like to begin a formal conversation and request a meeting to review our options, understand feasibility, and discuss next steps. Our goal is to have an enhanced, streamlined process in place by the start of the new fiscal year on July 1, 2026.
Please let us know a convenient time to meet. We appreciate your partnership and look forward to collaborating on this effort.
