Open Finance Connectivity
In this role, you will own Mastercard’s Open Banking connectivity across a portfolio of European countries and act as a connectivity lead and subject‑matter expert. You will combine deep technical understanding with strong product judgment, working hands‑on with engineering, banks, and internal stakeholders to drive connectivity quality, scalability, and innovation.

Responsibilities
Own Mastercard’s Open Banking connectivity across a portfolio of few European countries, covering all banks within those markets.

Perform deep, end‑to‑end analysis of bank connections, including bank‑specific behaviours, API nuances, and data normalisation. Proactively use logs, traces, metrics, and error patterns to identify gaps, diagnose issues, and drive resolution in collaboration with Engineering.
Partner closely with Engineering teams to shape solutions, ensure timely delivery of new capabilities, and uphold quality standards—leading through expertise, data, and clear problem framing rather than formal authority.
Identify and evaluate new Open Finance or commercial APIs exposed by banks, and collaborate with Engineering to assess feasibility, value, and integration approach.
