Roles & Responsibilities

  • 8+ years of B2B sales experience in the Dynamics 365 CE and FinOps market with a proven track record.
  • Strong understanding of the D365 market with a wide C-level network within government and corporate customers.
  • Experience managing long sales cycles (including RFPs), coordinating with pre-sales, solution architects and line-of-business owners; proven ability to qualify opportunities quickly.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and excellent written and oral communication, negotiation and stakeholder management.

Requirements:

  • Represent Datacom to Government and Corporate customers, promoting professional services and developing new business opportunities for Datacom with a focus on D365.
  • Sell Datacom professional services across the Professional Services offerings, driving targets and revenue growth in D365 opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and vendors to ensure Datacom remains top of mind for opportunities.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, solution architects and vendors to respond to RFPs, qualify opportunities and communicate technical information to diverse audiences.

About the Role (your why)

As Solutions Sales Specialist, you’ll represent Datacom to a broad range of customers, both Government and Corporate, promoting professional service offerings and developing new business opportunities for Datacom.

Key to your success is your ability to be innovative and creative in ensuring targets are met or exceeded by selling Datacom service offerings across the Professional Services offerings with a focus on D365 opportunities.

Your strong knowledge of the Dynamics 365 unique market and your proven experience working with government agencies and corporate customers will ensure you’re a high achiever in this role. Your success will also be ensured by your proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and vendors.

This role is based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/ life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best!

What you’ll bring

We are looking for an experienced Solutions Sales Specialist with at least 8+ years’ sales experience working within the Dynamics 365 CE and FinOps market. You will be a self-motivated, driven, and a results-orientated team player with a successful track record in sales.

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:

  • Solid understanding of the D365 market with a substantial network at the C-level within government and corporate customers
  • Understanding of the applications services market with the technical nous to pick up new offerings and services
  • Proven ability to manage long sales cycles including RFP responses, working with Datacom’s pre-sales team, line-of-business owners and solution architects
  • Proven ability to qualify opportunities quickly
  • Maintaining currency of knowledge, training and engagement with relevant vendors
  • Ability to absorb, apply and communicate technical information to a diverse audience
  • Excellent customer and vendor relationship building and management skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills

·       Supporting and enriching the existing strategic vendor relationships to ensure Datacom is top of mind for opportunities

  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Experience in using Salesforce as the sales CRM for tracking opportunity progression through the sales cycle.
