Roles & Responsibilities

  • Experience in motor vehicle sales management or business management at a dealership
  • Background from a main dealer, ideally at Sales Manager level (Business Manager level considered)
  • Ability to build relationships with regional managers face-to-face and via video
  • Strong coaching, training, and performance management skills with comfort interpreting reports and KPIs

Requirements:

  • Support dealership sites across the North of England, Northern Ireland and Scotland by partnering with Sales Managers and Executives
  • Improve enquiry management, deliver the sales process, and achieve FI objectives while maintaining high compliance and customer service standards
  • Interpret reports and KPIs to drive performance and coach the sales teams to meet targets
  • Travel within the M62 corridor, Scotland and Northern Ireland as required and operate in a hybrid field/remote capacity while contributing to group development

Job description

Job Title: Car Sales Development Specialist

Location: Ideally based on the M62 Corridor (Hybrid Role with some home working)

Travel: Northwest, Scotland (Once per month) and Northern Ireland (Once per month)

Salary: Up to £52k basic plus bonus - Company Car, Phone and Travel included

The ideal candidate will come from a main dealer background ideally at a Sales Manager Level. Business Manager level will be considered.

The Role

As part of our ‘Sales Development Team’, you will be responsible for supporting our sites across the North of England, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Your role will be to work closely with the Sales Managers and Executives to improve enquiry management, deliver our sales process and achieve F&I objectives, whilst ensuring we deliver our high compliance and customer service standards. The role will involve understanding reports and KPIs to drive performance and coach our teams to deliver upon these standards.

The Person

You will have experience in the motor sales arena at either sales management or business management level; you will be confident and able to build relationships with managers across the region both face to face and using video appointments. You will have the attitude to deliver and be adaptable to new ideas as we consistently look to grow our business. We will provide full support with training and on the job, coaching working closely with your Sales Development Manager.

This is a Field based role working with the dealership management and sales teams on site, also from home via video calls. Ideally, you will be based in the M62 corridor to allow travel within this region, also covering Scotland and Northern Ireland once a month on a rota basis.
