Business Resilience Manager
As the Business Resilience Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the organisation’s business resilience framework to ensure operational continuity during disruptions. You will lead business continuity, disaster recovery coordination, crisis management readiness, and resilience testing across the business, ensuring that critical services can continue or recover within agreed tolerances.

A bit more about the Opportunity...:What Your Day-to-Day will Look Like
📚 You will work closely with operational leaders, IT, Facilities, Security, Risk, HR, and third-party providers to strengthen organisational preparedness and response capability across people, process, technology, site, and supplier-related risks. You will develop, maintain, and enhance the organisation’s business continuity framework, conducting impact analyses to identify critical processes, dependencies, and recovery priorities. You will support the creation and maintenance of continuity plans, ensuring resilience strategies remain aligned with business priorities, client expectations, and regulatory obligations, while driving a culture of resilience awareness across the organisation. You will partner with IT, Facilities, and Operations to ensure disaster recovery arrangements are documented, tested, and effective, coordinating strategies for workplace disruption, technology outages, transport issues, utility failures, and supplier risks. You will track recovery capabilities against defined thresholds, identify gaps, and lead remediation plans with stakeholders.
You will support crisis management structures, escalation processes, and incident response governance, ensuring communication protocols and decision‑making frameworks are clear, tested, and lessons learned are embedded into updated resilience plans. You will manage an annual resilience testing programme, coordinate exercises and simulations, produce reports on outcomes, and maintain evidence for audits, client reviews, and regulatory purposes. You will align resilience practices with policies and standards, prepare reports for leadership forums, support audits and due diligence requests, and monitor key resilience risks and controls. You will assess supplier and site resilience, validate continuity arrangements, and support site‑level preparedness. You will deliver training and awareness sessions, build strong relationships across the organisation, embed resilience into daily operations and change initiatives, and act as a subject matter expert for business continuity and resilience.

💡 You are someone with proven experience in business continuity, resilience, crisis management, and disaster recovery. You bring strong knowledge of business impact analysis, continuity planning, incident management, and recovery frameworks, with the ability to coordinate activities across multiple functions. You have excellent stakeholder management skills, can influence at all levels, and are confident in designing and facilitating resilience tests and recovery simulations. You combine strong analytical and documentation skills with clear, executive‑level communication, remaining calm and effective under pressure. You are a confident leader who thrives in dynamic environments, balancing resilience, adaptability, and strong communication to deliver assurance and stability across the organisation.
