The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders, driving organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, and workforce planning aligned to business objectives. This role partners closely with leadership to implement people strategies that enable growth, enhance performance, and strengthen organizational culture.
The HRBP operates as a trusted consultant and change agent, balancing business needs with people priorities while leveraging data, insights, and best practices to influence decision-making. This role is critical in ensuring the organizations’ ability to scale, perform and retain top talent. The HRBP is a key driver of business success through people strategy.
Essential Job Responsibilities Include:
Strategic Partnership & Business Alignment
- Partner with senior leaders to merge business strategy with people strategies to drive performance and growth
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing thought leadership on organizational effectiveness, team dynamics, and leadership capability
- Build deep understanding of the business to proactively identify talent risks and opportunities
Organizational Design & Effectiveness
- Advise on organizational design initiatives that optimize structure, scalability, and efficiency
- Assess team effectiveness and recommend changes to improve performance, alignment, and accountability
- Support change management efforts tied to business transformation and growth
Talent Management & Development
- Drive talent planning, succession planning, and leadership development processes
- Partner with leaders to identify, develop, and retain top talent
- Coach leaders on performance management, including differentiating top performers and addressing underperformance
Employee Relations & Leadership Coaching
- Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, ensuring consistency and risk mitigation
- Coach leaders through difficult conversations and organizational challenges
- Identify trends and proactively recommend solutions to improve engagement and retention
Compensation & Workforce Planning
- Partner with leaders on various compensation matters, reinforcing a pay-for-performance philosophy
- Support workforce planning, including headcount strategy, role design, and cost management
- Use data and analytics to inform talent and compensation decisions that support organization’s compensation program and philosophy
Culture & Engagement
- Champion initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, inclusion, and organizational culture
- Partner with leadership to interpret engagement data and drive targeted action plans
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and results
Data, Insights & Decision Support
- Leverage HR data and analytics to provide actionable insights to leaders
- Identify trends across the organization and influence decisions with a data-driven approach
- Measure effectiveness of HR initiatives and continuously improve outcomes
Required Skills / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required
- 5+ years of progressive HRBP experience, with strong business partnership exposure
- Proven experience supporting senior leaders in complex, fast-paced environments
- Strong knowledge of HR disciplines including employee relations, talent management, organizational design, and compensation
- Experience working with both exempt and non-exempt population
- Strategic thinking and business acumen

Preferred Skills/Experience:
- HR certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP)

Based on relevant market data and other factors, the anticipated hiring range for this role is $88,000 - $110,000 annually. Final compensation rates will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity considerations. This role is also short-term incentive eligible. Incentive amounts will vary by individual and business goals.
