The business is centred on providing practical, cost-effective construction outcomes, with a strong emphasis on quality workmanship, efficient project delivery, and clear communication.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to support tendering and project costing across a range of precast and construction projects typically valued between $300K – $5M.

This is a remote, independent role suited to a mid to senior-level professional who can confidently manage estimates end-to-end with minimal supervision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for precast and construction projects
  

• Review and interpret architectural drawings, engineering plans, and specifications
  

• Perform material take-offs and quantity calculations
  

• Liaise with internal stakeholders to clarify scope and pricing requirements
  

• Identify risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options
  

• Assist in tender documentation preparation and submission
  

• Maintain organized records of estimates, revisions, and supporting documentation
  

• Work autonomously while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy
  

Requirements

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3–7+ years’ experience in construction estimating (mid to senior level)
  

• Exposure to Australian construction projects or standards (highly desirable)
  

• Experience with precast, structural, or building projects preferred
  

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  

• Proven experience working on projects in the $300K – $5M range (or similar)
  

• High level of attention to detail and commercial awareness
  

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  

Software & Tools

• No specific software required
  

• Experience with estimating tools such as CostX (highly regarded) or similar is advantageous
  

• Proficiency in Excel and general estimating workflows expected
