Position Overview
This role will be a part of the Data Migration and Interface team and will help develop data migrations, PeopleSoft SQR’s and PERL scripts for the implementation of the PeopleSoft Financial module (FSCM). This position will be a key resource in implementing the PeopleSoft FSCM design.
This position is subject to contract award.
Major Activities (Typical Duties/Responsibilities)
- Develop technical documentation.
- Analyze and monitor existing systems to provide recommendations for improvement.
- Data Migration from Oracle to MS SQL databases and work closely with database administrators to implement them into production environments.
- Understand and follow modern agile Software Development Lifecycle processes & procedures.
- Work with and follow best practices in a Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) environment, in close collaboration with Infrastructure and Cybersecurity colleagues.
- Work closely with customers, project managers, and other developers to understand the user’s needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Design and develop test cases.
- Troubleshoot software production issues.
- Assist with requirements gathering projects on enterprise-wide solutions.
- Assist with work scope estimates.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvements.
- The software engineer will work with other project software engineers, interface with project managers, and meet with customer subject matter experts as needed.
- Provide technical guidance and support across the project team.
- Maintain data security protocols and ensure data privacy and compliance with policy and regulation for this project.
- Coordination with the Project Manager on schedule and resources.

Physical Abilities
- Sufficient fine motor skills for the use of computers with an ability to withstand repetitive keyboarding for extended periods of time.
- Visual and communications ability are adequate to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Ability to reach below shoulder height with regular frequency (desk position) and at or above shoulder height on occasion.
- Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis, and greater weights on an occasional basis.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 2 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience with PeopleSoft 9.x or higher
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of IT Service or Consulting experience
Pay Range: $85,000-$140,000/ yearly
