Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Python & React)

What You'll do:

- Develop and maintain full-stack software solutions according to project requirements;

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable applications;

- Contribute to the design and implementation of technical solutions and system improvements;

- Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and code reviews;

- Support continuous improvement of development processes and team practices;

- Full remote, based in Portugal;

Who You Are:

- Proven experience of at least 5 years with full-stack software development, ideally in building enterprise applications:

- React ecosystem and TypeScript;

- Python, ideally using FastAPI framework and/or other backend-for-frontend technologies/frameworks;

- Experience working with relational databases and ORMs;

- Solid understanding of architectural concepts and software design patterns, including but not limited to microservice architecture, facade pattern, domain-driven design, and front-to-back architecture;

- Performance optimization skills (code splitting, lazy loading, and React performance optimization techniques);

- Build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, or other modern build tools);

- CSS-in-JS or styling frameworks (styled-components, Material-UI, or similar);

- API integration experience (REST, GraphQL, WebSockets);

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other DevOps tools;

- Quality-first approach to software development with solid knowledge of testing frameworks;

- Comfortable working in a distributed team environment with people of different nationalities and cultures located in Switzerland and across Europe;

- Ability to work independently and in small teams, with a proactive problem-solving attitude and critical thinking;

- Familiar with (or willing to learn) Scrum and agile methodology;

- Excellent command of English;

- Additional backend development languages, technologies, and frameworks beyond those mentioned above are considered a clear advantage;
