As an Industrial Security Analyst you will report to the International Security Senior Manager. You must have the ability to work as an independent contributor on routine to moderately complex assignments, with limited supervision and guidance. You will be required to have foundational knowledge of international affairs, global security, or geopolitical risk, with the ability to apply that knowledge to support analysis of global events and trends. You also must have the ability to support the development of analytical products, including reports, briefings, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and explain findings to team members and stakeholders is critical to your success as well as your ability to apply basic analytical judgment and critical thinking to assess information, identify relevance, and support recommendations. You also will be required to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and meet deadlines while working in a remote or distributed team environment.

Your familiarity with or willingness to learn and apply AI-enabled tools to support research, analysis, and development of written or visual products will be an important part of this position. This position will require someone who has a strong attention to detail and one who has the ability to maintain organized data, trackers, and documentation to support team operations. Collaboration

with others and communicating effectively across teams, while supporting day-to-day objectives and project needs is vital to this position.

What You Will Do

  • Collect and synthesize open-source intelligence related to geopolitical events, travel risks, regional instability, emerging international threats, and conflicts.

  • Transform raw data into leadership-ready products by structuring, summarizing, and contextualizing information into clear, actionable insights tailored for executive decision-making.

  • Develop and deliver analytical products including written reports, risk summaries, briefing decks, and executive updates, ensuring consistency, clarity, and relevance to global operations.

  • Present findings verbally to leadership and stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to clearly communicate complex international security issues in a concise and professional manner.

  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to enhance research, accelerate analysis, identify patterns, and improve the efficiency and quality of reporting outputs. This includes using AI to assist with data aggregation, drafting, trend analysis, and product development.

  • Maintain structured data repositories, trackers, and documentation systems that ensure information is organized, accessible, and aligned with compliance and operational requirements.

  • Support global duty-of-care efforts by contributing to risk awareness for international personnel and operations, ensuring relevant threat information is identified, analyzed, and communicated effectively.

  • Assist in international security assessments by gathering regional intelligence, compiling background materials, and supporting the development of assessment reports.

  • Provide administrative and analytical support for international security and other global security entities.

  • Respond to leadership-driven inquiries and ad hoc requests, providing timely, well-researched, and clearly packaged information.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • ​ Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Experience collecting and organizing information from multiple sources, with the ability to analyze and summarize findings into clear, usable outputs.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Academic background in International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, Economics, Data Analytics, or related fields, with a focus on global security, regional studies, or geopolitical risk.
  • Experience with open-source intelligence (OSINT), global event monitoring, and geopolitical analysis, including tracking international developments such as conflict, political instability, crime trends, or emerging threats.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce and deliver analytical products (e.g., threat assessments, country briefs, travel risk summaries, executive updates) tailored to business or operational audiences.
  • Familiarity with international security frameworks, including travel risk management, duty-of-care programs, or corporate security practices supporting global personnel and operations.
  • Proficiency in AI-assisted research and analysis, including using AI tools to support information gathering, pattern identification, drafting reports, and enhancing analytical workflows.
  • Experience organizing and maintaining structured datasets, intelligence trackers, or monitoring systems to support ongoing awareness of global security risks.
  • Foreign language proficiency and/or regional expertise, with the ability to interpret cultural, political, or security dynamics in specific geographic areas.
  • Experience supporting or contributing to international risk assessments, site reviews, or country-level security evaluations.
  • Familiarity with government, defense, or international security communities (e.g., OSAC, intelligence products, or interagency reporting).
  • Strong ability to synthesize information from diverse global sources, identify key risks, and translate findings into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience working in or supporting globally distributed teams or operations, with an understanding of the challenges associated with international business environments.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
