BOSS Snowplow, located in Iron Mountain, Michigan is a division of The Toro Company.  BOSS is a leader in the snow and ice management business with a growing lineup of plows for trucks, UTVs and ATVs, salt and sand spreaders, and box plows built for the snow and ice management professional, as well as the homeowner. With a focus on uncompromising quality and high-level craftsmanship, BOSS has grown to be a leader in the sale of truck plows. 

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding market presence across North America and Canada. 50% travel involved.

What Will You Do? 

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:  

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy for both existing and new products

  • Expand the presence of The BOSS Snowplow (and other related equipment) within North America/Canada.

  • Develop new markets and expand existing markets

  • Manage and develop Distributors and Sub-Distributors within the region: CO, WY, SD, ND, ID WA, AK, OR, NV, CA, UT, NE, KS.

What Do You Need? 

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

  • RSM I: 5+ years experience; sales and industry experience preferred

  • RSM II: 8+ years experience; sales and industry experience preferred

  • Proven record of sales success in a direct or related field

  • Proven record of sales success in a direct or related field

  • Excellent relationship building skills and demonstrated ability to be a team player

  • Self-motivated and demonstrated self-initiative

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Effective conflict-resolution skills

Competitive Salary The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between ​$100,000 - $120,000. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package. You may be eligible to participate in an incentive program, which rewards employees based on individual and organizational performance.
