We are seeking a Kubernetes Administrator to support a large-scale Facets migration project within the healthcare payer environment. This role will be responsible for installing, configuring, and managing containerized applications across production-grade Kubernetes clusters, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters in development, testing, and production environments
Deploy, monitor, and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes
Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of Kubernetes environments
Troubleshoot cluster, application, and infrastructure issues, performing root cause analysis and resolution
Support deployment and integration activities related to the Facets migration project
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications
Manage cluster security, including access controls, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation
Monitor system health using logging and monitoring tools, ensuring proactive issue detection
Collaborate with DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams to optimize system performance
Maintain documentation for cluster configurations, processes, and best practices
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Experience administering Kubernetes in production environments
Strong knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Understanding of networking, security, and system performance within containerized environments
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across technical teams
Experience supporting healthcare systems or payer environments
Exposure to Facets or similar healthcare platforms
Experience working on system migration or transformation projects\
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm)
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar
