Full-Time | Multiple Shifts Available:

M-F 8am-4:30pm
M-F 9:30am-6pm
M-F 11:30am-8pm

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Access Specialist to support patient medication access operations in a fast-paced, high-impact healthcare environment. This role is essential to ensuring accurate patient account setup, timely case processing, and exceptional service to internal teams and external partners. You will collaborate closely with medical billing teams and customer support units to help patients receive the care and prescriptions they need.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform accurate and timely data entry to create and update patient accounts and service cases.

  • Assist customers and internal support teams with overflow inquiries and issue resolution.

  • Review and update patient information based on documentation from medical billers.

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and organization when entering sensitive data.

  • Navigate multiple web-based systems, CRMs, and internal software tools simultaneously.

  • Deliver professional, empathetic communication in high-volume and time-sensitive scenarios.

What You Bring

    • Strong and accurate data entry skills with attention to detail.

    • Previous experience in Specialty Pharmacy, Healthcare Services, or Customer Service preferred.

    • Comfortable working in high-pressure, high-volume environments requiring quick decision-making.

    • Professional computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, email platforms, CRMs, and web-based tools.

    • Ability to multi-task efficiently and manage time in a fast-paced setting.

    • A dependable work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.

    • Ability to accept and implement coaching to continuously improve.

    • Experience working with databases or case management systems (e.g., Salesforce CRM) is a plus.

    • Understanding of challenges associated with patients' medical conditions is helpful.
