We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to support a large-scale Facets migration project within the healthcare industry. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based applications and integrations, while ensuring performance, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate will bring a strong software engineering background and experience working in agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications and services supporting healthcare systems and Facets migration efforts
Perform full software development lifecycle activities, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
Develop and maintain APIs for integration with enterprise data sources and third-party systems
Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver scalable and efficient solutions
Identify gaps in existing systems and recommend improvements or enhancements
Assist in defining and evolving product and system architecture within a cloud environment
Implement security best practices, including threat prevention mechanisms and secure coding standards
Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and security compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application development, infrastructure, and business stakeholders
Support system integration and migration activities related to the Facets platform
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Experience in cloud engineering or software development within a cloud environment
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) in an Agile environment
Experience developing APIs and integrating with enterprise systems
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (such as Java, Python, or .NET)
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams
Experience supporting healthcare systems or payer environments
Exposure to Facets or similar healthcare platforms
Experience working on system migration or transformation projects
Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization
Familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, or data pipelines
