Job Title: Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Experience: 10+yrs

Location: Remote (Candidates must be based in Pune, Bengaluru, or Chennai)

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Site Reliability Engineer  to join our team on a long-term contract. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role, where the candidate will independently manage and optimize website reliability, performance, and scalability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in development transitioning into Cloud/DevOps, with deep expertise in modern infrastructure and observability practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end reliability, availability, and performance of the website
  
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient infrastructure
  
• Work closely with development teams to ensure high system uptime and performance optimization
  
• Implement and enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
  
• Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and performance tuning
  
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational workflows
  
• Ensure best practices in CI/CD, security, and system reliability
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Lead-level experience working as an independent contributor
  
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes
  
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
  
• Experience in WordPress development and deployment
  
• Strong background as a Developer, now transitioned into DevOps/SRE/Cloud Engineer
  
• Experience working with product-based companies or large MNCs
  
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and distributed systems 
  

Preferred Skills (Any of the following)

• Networking expertise (VPC, Load Balancers, DNS, etc.)
  
• Automation tools: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Jenkins
  
• Performance engineering & optimization
  
• Experience with APM / Observability tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, Sumo Logic
