Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our clients' accounting operations. The selected candidate will work closely with the internal team and communicate regularly with U.S.-based clients in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the internal team to provide accounting support for Cordatus clients, including:
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable (A/P & A/R)
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Preparation of periodic financial statements
- Enter invoices and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
- Work within accounting platforms to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Communicate with clients via Zoom and Microsoft Teams
- Respond to customer and internal queries through email, Slack, and MS Teams live chat
- Support the Team Manager with additional accounting and administrative tasks as required
Job Specifications / Requirements
- Education:
- MBA (Finance) from a reputed university, OR
- ACCA (Part-Qualified), OR
- BSc/BS in Finance or Accounting
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance fundamentals
- Skilled in using accounting software and cloud-based accounting systems (such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms; prior hands-on experience preferred)
- Comfortable working with SaaS tools and learning new systems as required
- Fluent written and spoken English for effective communication with U.S. clients
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and other MS Office applications
- Reliable high-speed internet connection suitable for video and voice calls
- Availability to work full-time during U.S. business hours
(6:00 PM – 3:00 AM Pakistan Time, Monday to Friday)
- Fully remote position, open to candidates residing in Pakistan only
Salary & Benefits
Compensation:
PKR 42,000 – 55,000 per month, based on experience and skills.
