Position Overview
The Zoho Developer is a strategic and technical role responsible for managing, customizing, and scaling the organization’s Zoho One environment. This position ensures Zoho applications are fully aligned with business objectives, integrated across functions, and leveraged to improve efficiency, visibility, and client experience. The administrator acts as a platform expert, solution builder, and technical innovator—overseeing implementation, customization, training, and continuous improvement to maximize ROI on Zoho One.
1. Zoho Development & Customization
Design and implement custom modules, fields, layouts, and workflows across Zoho One applications.
Use Deluge scripting and low-code tools to automate complex processes.
Build custom applications with Zoho Creator to address unique organizational needs.
Customize dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
2. Integration & Automation
Integrate Zoho apps with each other and with external systems (e.g., Slack, QuickBooks, payment gateways, APIs).
Develop automated workflows using Zoho Flow, Webhooks, and custom APIs.
Collaborate with IT/development teams to implement advanced, cross-functional solutions.
3. Application Architecture & Optimization
Maintain and optimize Zoho system architecture for performance, scalability, and data integrity.
Review and enhance workflows, automations, and custom functions to improve efficiency.
Ensure system security and compliance across modules.
4. Process Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
Document custom functions, scripts, integrations, and workflows.
Maintain a library of reusable components, templates, and low-code apps.
Train internal teams on technical features, best practices, and self-service solutions.
5. Advanced Reporting & Analytics
Design custom dashboards and reports using Zoho Analytics and CRM reporting tools.
Monitor data across modules, identify gaps, and optimize automation and reporting.
Provide leadership with technical insights for process improvements and strategic decision-making.
6. Client Onboarding & Experience
Streamline client onboarding using Zoho CRM, Desk, and Projects.
Ensure client-facing modules deliver a smooth, professional experience.
Enhance client visibility and engagement through automated workflows and reporting.
7. Collaboration & Project Management (Technical)
Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Manage development projects, track milestones, and implement enhancements.
Support change management for new features, upgrades, and custom solutions.
Qualifications:
Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of Zoho experience.
Proven experience in leading and managing Zoho projects from start to finish.
Strong understanding of Zoho One applications and integration amongst modules.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and develop solutions to complex business challenges.
