Overview:

Sprout is a global IT hardware retirement provider for hyperscaler and enterprise clients. We leverage a nationwide footprint (and international partner network) combined with proprietary software to enable efficient end-to-end IT asset disposition (ITAD) with a focus on data-bearing devices from the client to the cloud. The company is headquartered in Charlotte, NC with additional operations near Sacramento, Dallas, and Boston. Sprout provides software and services to clients in the form of our IT Asset Disposition, Certified Destruction, and Responsible Recycling solutions

 

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION 

We’re currently hiring a Senior Account Manager to help identify and drive additional revenue in an established base of large global accounts. Our Senior Account Manager will have a proven track record of success overseeing various accounts and expanding growth opportunities. 

 

Preferred in Mountain and Pacific Time Zone

Must have experience selling Data Center products or services into the Tech industry.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities: 

  • Seek and create opportunities to expand business with current clients’ identifying further business needs and present a solution. 
  • Develop and implement an action plan with objectives and strategies to increase revenue and aggressively grow established accounts. 
  • Regularly interact with executives of major clients. 
  • Analyze existing and anticipated client needs and promote company services to meet such requirements. 
  • Understand prospective client’s culture, product portfolio, competitive position, financial state, investment plan, organization structure and key decision makers. 
  • Function as liaison between clients and internal operations staff. 
Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 

  • Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently. 
  • Minimum of 10 years’ related experience with the world’s largest market cap companies 
  • Experience selling multi-million-dollar, multi-year solutions in large data centers  
  • Previous experience working within the ITAD industry is preferred 
  • Experience working within an OEM or VAR preferred  
  • Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization. 
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills 
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office Suite. 

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT 

 

  • 100% Remote 
  • % Onsite office environment/ non-air-conditioned warehouse 
  • % Travel annually
