Position Overview
Yokogawa is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals interested in building strong client relationships while supporting sales growth in the industrial automation and technology sector.
The Entry-Level Account Manager will work closely with senior account managers and cross-functional teams to manage customer accounts, identify opportunities, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the management of existing customer accounts, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution
· Assist in identifying new business opportunities within assigned accounts
· Develop a strong understanding of Yokogawa’s products, services, and industry solutions
· Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and sales reports
· Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, customer support) to meet client needs
· Track account performance metrics and maintain accurate CRM records
· Participate in client meetings, site visits, and industry events as needed
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Basic understanding of sales principles or customer relationship management
· Analytical mindset with attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
· Willingness to learn technical concepts related to industrial automation
· Must reside in Louisiana, preferably near Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Lake Charles or New Orleans.
Preferred Qualifications
· Internship or co-op experience in sales, business development, or engineering
· Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
· Interest in industrial automation, energy, or technology sectors
