Job description

This is a remote position.

A growing company in the automotive industry is looking for a persistent, high-energy Part Time Appointment Setter to bridge the gap between automotive services and the insurance sector. Your primary mission is to open doors by calling prospective insurance partners (Claims Adjusters, Agents, and Risk Managers) to schedule introductory meetings for the executive team. This role requires approximately three hours per day, or 15 hours per week.

This is not a "hard close" sales role; it is a relationship-starting role that requires professional persistence and a "hunter" mentality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cold & Warm Outreach: Conduct high-volume outbound calls to insurance agencies and claims departments to introduce the automotive solutions.

  • Appointment Setting: Successfully navigate "gatekeepers" to reach decision-makers and secure firm appointments on our sales team’s calendar.

  • Lead Qualification: Vet prospective clients to ensure they meet the ideal partner profile (volume of claims, geographic location, etc.).

  • CRM Management: Track call outcomes, follow-up dates, and contact information

  • Value Proposition: Effectively communicate how our automotive services reduce "cycle time," lower claim costs, and improve policyholder satisfaction.



Requirements


  • The "Phone Voice": A professional, engaging, and persuasive verbal communication style.

  • Experience: Prior experience with Appointment Setting, ideally from an automotive setting

  • Resilience: The ability to handle "no" with a smile and stay motivated throughout a high-volume calling day.

  • Industry Knowledge: (Preferred) Familiarity with the automotive repair or insurance claims process (Direct Repair Programs, total loss, etc.).

  • Organisation: Self-motivated with the ability to manage a pipeline of leads without constant supervision.

Success Metrics

  1. Lead-to-Appointment Conversion: The percentage of calls that result in a confirmed meeting.

  2. Show Rate: Ensuring the appointments set are high-quality and the client actually attends.

  3. Volume: Maintaining a consistent daily/weekly volume of outbound touches.
