As Built Data Tech

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced As-Built Data Technician proficient in operating various computer equipment and software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Microsoft Word, and Excel. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in processing, managing, and delivering accurate as-built and survey data to both internal teams and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Trimble Business Center to process daily data collected by field personnel.
• Create stakeout and as-built drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D for internal and client use.
• Generate stakeout files (DXFs, CSVs, and KMZs) to support crew operations.
• Produce final survey deliverables such as as-built drawings, shape files, weld maps, and CSVs.
• Process and produce post-construction and as-built data and drawings.
• Adhere to established quality processes and procedures throughout all stages of project execution.
• Preform QA/QC operations utilizing Data Halo; experience is preferred, but not required.
• Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, external clients, and project team members.
• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess good mechanical aptitude and proficiency in computer operations.
• Manage data for multiple projects simultaneously from various clients.
• Provide clear communication regarding standards and procedures to field crews and ensure adherence to these standards.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Strong understanding of surveying principles and practices.
• Experience in generating and managing survey data and deliverables.
• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Preferred [2-3] years of experience in a similar role within the construction or surveying industry.
