Outsource Ability is recruiting on behalf of a UK-based e-commerce business for a part-time Google Ads specialist. This role is ideal for an experienced PPC professional with a strong background in driving online sales and revenue through Google Ads. 
 

The successful candidate will take ownership of paid search and shopping campaigns, optimising performance to maximise ROAS and support continued e‑commerce growth. 
 

About the Role 
 

As the Google Ads Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimising paid media campaigns across Google's advertising platforms, with a clear focus on product-led performance marketing. You will work remotely with the client's internal team, contributing strategic insights while executing hands-on optimisation. 

This is a fully remote, part-time position, offering flexibility and the opportunity for an ongoing working relationship. 
 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Plan, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns for e-commerce (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, and remarketing) 
  • Optimise product feed performance in collaboration with Merchant Center 
  • Conduct keyword research and structure campaigns to support product categories and seasonal trends 
  • Write and test high-performing ad copy focused on driving online sales 
  • Manage bids, budgets, and audiences to maximise ROAS and conversion value 
  • Monitor performance across key e‑commerce KPIs (ROAS, CPA, AOV, conversion rate) 
  • Implement and maintain accurate conversion tracking (including enhanced e-commerce) 
  • Analyse data and provide regular performance reports with actionable recommendations 
  • Identify opportunities for scaling profitable campaigns and improving underperforming ones 
  • Stay up to date with Google Ads updates and e-commerce PPC best practices 
     

Required Skills & Experience 

  • Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns for e-commerce brands 
  • Strong track record of driving online revenue and improving ROAS 
  • Hands-on experience with Google Shopping, Performance Max, and Merchant Center 
  • Solid understanding of conversion tracking, attribution, and analytics 
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action 
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working with remote teams 
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously 
  • Google Ads certification (preferred but not essential) 
  • Meta ads experience will be advantageous 

Mandatory Remote Work Requirements 

As this is a fast-paced remote position, candidates must have: 

  • Their own laptop and headset, capable of running productivity and marketing software efficiently. 
  • A reliable power supply (solar, UPS, or inverter) to ensure uninterrupted workflow—loadshedding cannot be used as an excuse for missed deadlines. 
  • A stable, high-speed internet connection, suitable for cloud-based applications and real-time communication
