General Purpose
Regional Director of Therapy Services-PACS is responsible for the oversight of multiple facility rehabilitation programs, both in-house and contract therapy providers, and mentoring of Directors of Rehabilitation. This includes but is not limited to training new Directors of Rehabilitation, providing recommendations to rehab programs on efficiencies, and operations monitoring to ensure adherence to PACS Therapy Best Practices and Policies and Procedures as well as Medicare guidelines and State Practice Acts. The role does not include providing direct patient care or documentation in patient EMR except during emergent situation and with approval of PACS leadership. The Regional Director of Therapy Services is responsible for implementation of new programs and procedures consistent with regulatory changes and will interface with other regional level nursing and administrative professionals.

At the request of Administrators and RVPOs assist in supervision of DORs, Staff Therapists, and other therapy regional support staff/consultants
Qualification
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and /or Speech Language Pathology at a minimum. Prefer graduates of Masters or Doctorate Program in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and /or Speech Language Pathology. Proficient in computer skills for Microsoft Office and utilizing software for SharePoint, Net Health, and Point Click Care. Prefer prior regional experience. Requires RAC-CT Credential within 1 year of hire.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Licensed as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist and or Speech Language Therapist. Employee must meet continue education requirements per state practices. Must maintain a license in good standing at all time with the state board. CPR certification.

Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling occasionally. Close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception in vision: ability to adjust focus.
