Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist – Permanent Part-Time

Lifemark Health Group is seeking a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team on a Part-Time basis, to support Canadian Armed Forces veterans in their transition to civilian employment. This role is primarily focused on developing high-quality, targeted resumes and cover letters for both private sector and public service opportunities, including federal government priority hiring process. 

Working remotely, the successful candidate will collaborate with veterans to translate military experience into compelling civilian language, helping them effectively market their skills, qualifications, and leadership experience to prospective employers. 

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting veterans in achieve successful and sustainable employment outcomes. Depending on experience and organizational needs, additional vocational rehabilitation services may also be part of this role.

Responsibilities include:

• Private sector roles
• Public service positions, including federal government applications and priority hiring process
• Translate military occupations, training, and experience into clear, results-driven civilian language
• Collaborate one-on-one with clients to gather employment history, achievements, and career goals
• Ensure application documents align with current labour market trends and hiring practice
• Provide guidance on federal government resume formats, screening criteria, and application process
• Maintain accurate and detailed client documentation
