What will you do?

In this position you will join our Infrastructure business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of infrastructure projects - from rural access roads to complex freeways, toll roads, system interchanges and water security.

You’ll be part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team working on some of Australia’s most significant transport infrastructure projects, reimagining how roads can shape a more sustainable and connected world. You are also expected to:

• Develop and produce detailed road and civil design models to produce drawings using geometric design packages such as OpenRoads Designer or 12d.

• Interpret design standards and translate engineering input into 3D models and provide outputs for plan production.

• Collaborate with engineers and drafters to ensure accuracy, constructability, and integration of design elements.

• Assist with digital design processes and participate in design reviews.

• Apply quality assurance and Aurecon design protocols throughout the project lifecycle.

• Apply Austroads guidelines and TfNSW Supplements to Austroads, to produce accurate and detailed road designs that will range from concept designs all the way through to construction stages.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also have:

• Advance knowledge or Expert in 12d or OpenRoads

• 3+ years of industry experience as a Road designer, using 12d or Openroads

• Road Design, Highway Design, Interchange Design, Intersection Design
