Job Title: Sr Business Systems Analyst
Brief Description:
Sr Business Systems Analyst with an agile mindset and a focus in healthcare domain. Reporting to the Manager for Technical Business Analysis, is the primary liaison between the business and IT.
Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis of business issues, provide recommendations for possible solutions, work with Business users and IT project teams to drive decision-making and define requirements for application development, ensuring that business needs are being met.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
- Create detailed documentation, including functional specification, use cases, and process flows.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and providing ongoing support throughout the development lifecycle.
- Analyze opportunities to improve application reliability, provide recommendations for possible solutions, and work with IT and Business partners to implement solutions that enhance application and infrastructure reliability.
- Perform and Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate delivered solution meeting requirement needs.
- Perform analysis of compliance vulnerabilities; work with IT and Business teams to eliminate vulnerabilities, support internal and external audit related activities.
- Communicates project status and escalates issues as needed.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field or 6 – 10 years of equivalent work experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to think critically.
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to develop a detailed work plan to ensure project success
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with cross functional teams.
- Ability to lead and facilitate meetings with stakeholders at various levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft application software (i.e., Word, Excel, Visio and Project)
- Working experience of Azure DevOps, JIRA is highly desired
