World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding.

WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce.

Generally, working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern time, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements.

The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language.

Requirements

• Summary: Responsible for designing and maintaining data architecture, ensuring alignment between business goals and technology infrastructure, ensuring data quality, and data visualization through comprehensive and useful reports.
• Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture models and roadmaps, preferably with MS Visio or a similar tool.
• Align IT strategy with business objectives by assessing current capabilities and defining future needs.
• Ensure the data warehouses and infrastructure are sufficient to execute business objectives; periodically review all relevant company resources to ensure continuous execution of all processes.
• Establish and enforce architecture standards, principles, and governance processes.
• Provide active code review to all code/data provided by data engineers. Ensure Data Team pull requests are submitted into corresponding Git repositories.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and work in collaboration with the internal audit department to ensure all internal standards and quality objectives are met.
• Maintain GIT repositories and have a corresponding data dictionary in SharePoint.
• Collaborate with other departments to co-create and co-design reports that are meaningful and useful for the business and should report in Power BI visualizations.
• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or a relevant/equivalent field.
• 5–10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, data architecture, or data management–related fields.
• Background in finance, data warehouse management, data visualization, banking, or experience in loan/credit operations preferred. U.S. experience is a plus.
• Previous managerial experience is required.
• Excellent English proficiency (C1 or above).
• Must have own laptop (company does not provide equipment).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
