IT Director - Remote

About HireHawk We are a fast-growing remote staffing agency serving US ecommerce clients. We are 15 people today and building intentionally. Everyone here owns their lane, moves fast, and helps shape how the company grows. We are looking for our first IT Director to own the entire technology layer of the business.

The Role This is a ground-floor opportunity. You will come in with a blank canvas and build the tech stack from scratch — selecting and implementing our ATS, CRM, and AI-supported workflows. You will be the solo IT leader today with a clear path to grow your team and your title as we scale.

What You Will Own

  • Select, implement and manage our ATS and CRM from scratch
  • Build and automate internal workflows using AI and automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n or similar)
  • Manage all SaaS tools, integrations, and remote IT infrastructure
  • Advise leadership on technology decisions as we grow
  • Set the foundation for a future IT team
  • Systems administration

Requirements

  • 6 plus years of overall IT experience
  • 3 plus years in an IT Manager or Head of Technology role
  • Experience in a staffing, recruiting, or remote-first company is a big plus
  • Hands-on experience selecting or implementing an ATS and CRM
  • Comfortable with AI tools and automation platforms
  • Strong communicator in English

Nice to Have

  • Staffing, recruiting, or talent operations experience
  • Zoho, Workable, Slack workflows or similar tools
  • Dashboard or analytics setup experience
  • Experience scaling systems for growing teams
