We are looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment working with U.S. clients. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a growing company.

In a startup setting, accounting requires flexibility and ownership. The right candidate will be someone who can manage multiple priorities, switch between tasks easily, and actively execute the day-to-day accounting processes, while helping ensure the financial operations run smoothly.

You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with U.S. accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
•  Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
•  Maintain the general ledger and supporting schedules
•  Oversee and execute accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
•  Ensure accurate bookkeeping and financial records
• Prepare monthly financial reports and supporting documentation
•  Assist with financial analysis and reporting for internal stakeholders
•  Support audits and maintain proper financial documentation
• Operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
•  Handle a wide range of accounting tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
•  Collaborate with operations and finance teams to keep financial processes running efficiently
•  Support improvements in accounting processes, workflows, and documentation
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably supporting U.S. companies or U.S. clients
• Proven experience working in a startup or high-growth environment
• Strong experience with end-to-end accounting processes and month-end close
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or similar)
