Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Analyst for a remote position with a Leading Pharmacy Benefit Manager located in MN. This is a 4+ month contract opportunity.
Pay range: $58.00 - $63.00 per hour
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our data team focused on claims analyses for our Implementation Team in a B2B enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the transformation of complex claims datasets into insights for potential action with assimilated data combined with visual narratives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct data transformation in Python or Java to prepare data for processing by the adjudication engine
- Translate complex data into clear, engaging information and visual stories to support driving strategic decisions
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and patterns to illustrate impact
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reporting and visualization outputs
- Work closely with the Implementation, Business intelligence, and Strategic Solutions Teams to identify data needs and deliver insights
- Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner, tailoring communication to technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field; computer science, data science, math, statistics
- Tableau/Power BI
- Python/SQL/Java
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming
- GitHub
- Cloud experience; GCP or similar
- Knowledge of statistical methods and predictive modeling
- Critical thinking – Ability to interpret data in context and identify meaningful insights
- Curiosity and problem-solving – Eagerness to explore data and uncover root causes behind trends
- Collaboration – Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Adaptability – Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities
- Attention to detail – Precision in data handling and visualization to ensure accuracy and clarity
- Empathy – Understanding consumer perspectives to better interpret experience data
- Presentation skills – Confidence in sharing insights with stakeholders
Desired skills:
- Experience with unstructured data
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms
- Experience with call claims data or other PBM metrics a plus but not mandatory
