4+ years in hazardous waste management, transportation, or DOT/RCRA compliance
2+ years in training
Strong understanding of DOT/FMCSA and EPA regulations
Requirements:
Create and deliver driver training programs aligned with DOT and EPA requirements
Manage all initial and recurrent training schedules
Conduct field evaluations, ride-alongs, and driver skills assessments; coach drivers on safety, compliance, equipment use, and customer service

What You Will Do
Create and deliver driver training programs aligned with DOT and EPA requirements
Manage all initial and recurrent training schedules
Conduct field evaluations, ride‑alongs, and driver skills assessments
Coach drivers on safety, compliance, equipment use, and customer service
Identify gaps in current driver practices and recommend improvements
Collaborate with operations, safety, and hazardous waste teams on training priorities
Serve as the organization’s subject‑matter expert on hazardous waste driver responsibilities
Travel 70–75% of the time across the U.S.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Safety, Transportation, Training, or similar field (or equivalent experience)
4+ years in hazardous waste management, transportation, or DOT/RCRA compliance
2+ years in training
Strong understanding of DOT/FMCSA and EPA regulations
Experience with load securement, shipping papers, and other transportation fundamentals
Proven ability to evaluate performance and deliver hands‑on, skills‑based training
