The Data Operations Analyst is responsible for executing operational workflows to deliver a variety of data services for our customers, including campaign execution, report creation, systems integration, data hygiene, data enrichment, and more. The Data Operations Analyst brings a procedure-oriented analytical skillset to bear on a high volume of data-centric work. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyzing and transforming a variety of data sets in a variety of formats, including data in databases, flat file data (CSV, JSON, Parquet, etc.), ensuring data is ready for operational use. 
• Executing workflows in various commercial data workflow systems, including Knime, Alteryx, Airflow, and various proprietary workflow systems. 
• Interpreting and clarifying customer instructions, which may be incomplete, translating those instructions into technical details and input required to deliver complex services. 
• Working closely with other Analysts to deliver work collaboratively, creating concurrent data processing capability for larger projects and deliverables. 
• Continuously learning new tools, techniques, and technologies to support diversification and growth in our service offerings. 

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Analytical thinking and reasoning 
• Data analysis in Excel 
• General understanding of relational databases and the principles of managing data in databases 
• Ability to learn new business processes and systems 
• Ability to apply high-level business processes to newly learned tools, techniques, and technologies 
• Strong, clear, professional communication, both written and oral 
• Strong time management 

LOCATION: Remote, U.S. Some limited, company-funded travel may be required to attend annual staff activities or larger team meetings.

WORKING HOURS: Our business operation requires employees to work in one of the four, continental U.S. time zones during regular, Mon-Fri business hours. 

Pay Range expected for the position: $50k-$75k annually.
