Category Analyst I

This position is responsible for supporting category management and sales teams through data mining, reporting, and insights generation. The Category Analyst assists with analyzing syndicated data, developing sales tools, and assist in creating clear presentations that support fact-based decision making with internal partners and retailers.

Essential Duties:

• Prepare and deliver category and sales analytic reports using syndicated data sources.
• Develop, maintain, and update sales tools, dashboards, and scorecards to track performance.
• Support category storytelling by translating data into clear, actionable insights.
• Assist in preparation of customer-facing presentations and internal reporting materials.
• Conduct data extraction, validation, and basic analysis to support business initiatives.
• Participate in ad hoc analyses and cross-functional projects as assigned.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education/ Experience/Skills:

• 1-2+ years’ experience working with syndicated data and/or supporting retailer presentations, or equivalent analytical experience, bachelor’s degree preferred
• Working knowledge of data extraction, manipulation, and basic analytical techniques
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to build charts, tables, and presentations
• Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages and interpret graphs and trends
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and distill findings into simple, actionable insights
• General understanding of the beer category, syndicated data sources, and retail chains is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.

Starting Hourly Rate: $25.00/hour-$28.50/hour
