Position Summary

Serves as the administrative coordinator for two divisions within the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. Provides frontline customer service and serves as a primary resource for visitors, students, faculty, and staff regarding academic, administrative, and research-related activities. Coordinates day-to-day program operations, including admissions and enrollment support, preparation of assessment and accreditation documentation (e.g., curriculum evaluation and program outcomes reporting), and liaison activities with faculty, alumni, clinical partners, and external organizations such as licensure boards. Supports division directors by coordinating schedules and meetings, supervising student employees, and assisting with other operational priorities to ensure efficient, high-quality program delivery.

Primary Duties

  • Coordinates day-to-day operations for two or more academic programs within the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences; serves as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, alumni, and external partners (e.g., licensure boards) by responding to inquiries and providing guidance on applicable policies, procedures, and services; supports program admissions, enrollment activities, and special events; prepares and coordinates assessment documentation and reports to support accreditation, curriculum evaluation, and program outcomes assessment.

  • Manages division leadership calendars and meeting logistics; recruits, interviews, hires, trains, schedules, and evaluates student employees; oversees daily office and teaching laboratory operations to ensure efficient workflows and an appropriate learning environment; serves as the manager liaison in Workday for division directors, including initiating and processing student position requests.

  • Processes purchasing and reimbursement transactions, including purchase requisitions, spend authorizations, and expense reports for teaching and laboratory supplies; maintains inventory, equipment, and supply levels and coordinates maintenance and service as needed; coordinates faculty and student travel arrangements and completes Workday transactions to support travel authorization and reimbursement.

  • Collaborates as a member of the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences administrative team to support unit-wide operations and service excellence including supporting other administrative functions/positions when necessary; performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience required.

Additional Information:

Position is a hybrid role, with primary duties in-person but the opportunity to work from home up to two days/week after initial period.
