G.E.H.A’s internship program is designed to develop a pipeline for potential full-time opportunities; however, conversion to regular employment is not guaranteed and depends on business need, performance, and available headcount.We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist our team in managing regulatory and accreditation compliance for our health plan. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in healthcare compliance, policy review, and accreditation processes while working alongside professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality health services. Through this internship you’ll gain insight into the accreditation process for health plans and its impact on organizational success, opportunities to develop skills in project management and data analysis, and exposure to cross-functional healthcare operations.
Key Duties
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to refine workflows, develop efficient tracking systems and implement solutions that enhance overall accreditation processes
Assist with the preparation of health plan accreditation documents
Assist with gap analyses to identify key areas of focus
Contribute to the creation of detailed reports and presentations that communicate progress, findings, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
Work in collaboration with project management professionals to meet project deadlines
Help plan and facilitate accreditation-related training working sessions to ensure teams are well-equipped to meet standards
Requirements
Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program with a focus on healthcare administration, public health, business, or a related field.
3.0 overall GPA
Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Good analytical skills
Demonstrated initiative both independently and within a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Interest in healthcare quality, compliance and accreditation processes
Demonstrated success with process improvement

G.E.H.A considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
The hiring range for this position is $43,160 - $54,600 USD. At G.E.H.A, the current maximum salary for this role is $60,840 USD. While initial compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications, there is a path to work toward this top rate through performance and continued growth within the organization. The salary range shown represents an annualized full‑time rate.
