Job description

Cyber Security Administrator

Duration: 12 months

Location: Remote, Denver, CO

Overview:

Provide specialized network and cyber-security administration support to maintain secure, compliant, and modern network infrastructures. This role focuses on mitigating operational challenges, managing hardware lifecycles, and executing critical security requests.

Scope of Services:

Review and execute Firewall Service Requests (FSRs), break-fix tickets, and formal change requests.
Facilitate the decommissioning and refresh of End-of-Life (EOL) hardware on a recurring basis.
Implement security controls and configurations to ensure compliance with IRS, FBI, and CJI standards.
Technical configuration and management of Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls.

Technical Qualifications:

Proficiency in Palo Alto Firewalls: Next-generation firewall features such as Zones, security policies, S2S VPN, Natting, and basic threat prevention.
Experience with Cisco ASA Firewalls: Configuration, troubleshooting, and rule management.
Foundational knowledge of general networking: routing protocols, subnetting, OSI model, etc.
