JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a highly skilled end-to-end bookkeeper to join our dream team. In this role, you will work alongside an accountant in the Philippines who also works in an offshore capacity, as well as a team of accountants in Australia, to service clients in the Central Coast region. You will attend weekly WIP meetings with the whole team and support the accountants with bookkeeping requirements as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need experience with Australian GST, accounts payable/receivable bookkeeping, reconciliations, and the Xero platform. Further, you will have experience preparing business activity statements (BAS), and be proficient in Excel and the Microsoft suite of products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Managing Accounts receivable and Payable for our clients remotely in Xero.
  

• Performing Xero Bank reconciliations and preparing query lists for anything that needs client clarification.
  

• Managing Payroll and preparing Installation Activity Statements (IAS) on behalf of our clients.
  

• The preparation of business activity statements (BAS) for review by the accounting team.
  

Requirements

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have experience with Australian GST and Xero products.
  

• Experience working with an Australian accounting firm in a similar capacity.
