At Alpha, our scientists and engineers are the heart of the business and have been since we invented the rubber rheometer industry over 60 years ago. The company is seeking an Applications Engineer to help current and prospective customers to solve problems using our products.
Job Description
The Applications Engineer plays a critical role in supporting Alpha’s growth. This person unlocks the potential of our products to address our customers’ challenges. The ideal candidate will enjoy a fast-paced work environment with frequent customer touchpoints. The Applications engineer will manage a wide range of projects including supporting new product introduction, resolving major customer issues, creating technical marketing content, and delivering technical presentations at major conferences. The individual will be working in a non-smoking administrative office environment with moderate PC work, light to moderate communication via phones and multiple interruptions. Routine visits to the production area are required. Noise level encountered will vary from minimum to heavy machining. There may be some exposure to chemicals and fumes.
