Emory Global Engagement (EGE) advances the university’s global impact and connections. Together we foster innovative international partnerships, welcome international students and scholars, and catalyze and support global research and study.

 

The Program Coordinator is an exciting position for an early‑career professional seeking to grow in the field of international education and contribute to a range of global engagement.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support EGE’s global partnership related projects, including a partnership tracking platform and projects related to partnership data and global engagement metrics.
  • Support the tracking, renewal, and assessment of existing and potential partnership agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs).
  • Supports development of briefing documents, agendas, and schedules, including those involving senior leadership and their travel abroad, and those involving international delegation visits to Emory, and assist with related logistics.
  • Support the planning, logistics, and coordination of key EGE events and programs, including International Education Week activities and EGE’s annual International Awards celebration.
  • May assist in identifying funding resources and developing fund-raising strategies and initiatives.
  • Prepares operational and statistical reports.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program.
  • Two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in coordinating activities and events.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively and effectively while handling multiple projects on various timelines
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Excel and Project Management Tools such as ASANA 
  • International and intercultural interest and experience 

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
