Denver Industrial Pumps, a SunSource company, is a full-service distributor of pumps and related equipment. Our central location is headquartered in Golden, Colorado and our Pump and Process Solutions division is located in Casper, Wyoming. We carry an average inventory of 300 + pumps that include: centrifugal, drum, submersible, air diaphragm, rotary vane and magnetic drive types. We also offer full-service repair for pump assemblies, base mounting, alignment, impeller trims and balancing, performance and hydrostatic testing. The primary markets we serve are: oil field/refining, industrial, municipal, pharmaceutical, mining, power generation, commercial, food & beverage, OEM and government.
We’re looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Outside Sales Representative to grow and manage a multi-state territory across Utah and Nevada. This is a high-impact role focused on developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and delivering fluid process solutions to customers across diverse industries.
You’ll operate with a high level of autonomy—essentially running your territory like your own business—while being supported by a strong internal team and industry-leading resources.
Essential Functions
Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to drive revenue growth
Identify, prospect, and secure new customers across key industries
Grow existing accounts by providing consultative, solution-based sales
Conduct market research to uncover opportunities and understand competitive landscape
Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and technical solutions
Manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously
Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience
Utilize CRM tools and technology to track activity and manage pipeline
Maintain strong product knowledge across pumps and fluid process equipment
Experience, Education and Skills
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred (business, marketing, engineering, or related field)
2+ years of B2B industrial sales experience
Experience with fluid process, pumps, or related equipment preferred
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage a territory
Highly organized with strong time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to travel within territory, including occasional overnight travel
