At ORBCOMM, we’re looking for a Partner Solutions Architect who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping strategic partners build and scale innovative technology solutions powered by ORBCOMM.

In this hybrid technical and commercial role, you’ll work closely with our OEM and VIACHAIN reseller partners, ensuring seamless integration of ORBCOMM solutions into their product offerings while helping partners scale successfully and bring new connected solutions to market. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor—someone who can confidently engage with engineering, product, and commercial teams while driving long-term partnership success.

As part of ORBCOMM, you’ll join a team that values innovation, collaboration, and real impact. You’ll work alongside strategic partners and internal stakeholders to bring connected technology solutions to the market and play an important role in helping our partners leverage ORBCOMM capabilities to grow their businesses.

This role can be based from our Ottawa, ON hub or remotely anywhere in North America. You’ll enjoy the flexibility of remote work while also traveling to key customer locations. Team members located in our hub regions work in a hybrid environment.

What You’ll Do

Who You Are

You’re a partner-first, customer-facing technical leader who can translate complex platforms into clear integration paths and business value. You collaborate easily across engineering, product, and commercial teams, and you’re energized by helping OEM and reseller partners launch, scale, and expand connected solutions.

If you have: 

• 5–8+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Customer Success Engineer)
• Hands-on experience supporting OEMs, resellers, and/or strategic technology partners
• A track record of enabling integrations and helping partners deploy and scale third-party technology successfully
• Comfort operating at the intersection of engineering and business—translating technical capabilities into partner outcomes and value
• Strong foundation in solution architecture, APIs, and integration concepts for technical products
• Ability to align and influence cross-functional teams (engineering, product, commercial) to remove blockers and deliver partner success
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset—able to anticipate partner needs and drive issues to resolution
• Preferred: experience in IoT, telematics, fleet/asset management, or connected technology
• Comfort using AI-enabled tools and automation to support day-to-day work and improve productivity
• A commitment to continuous learning, including digital and AI literacy

The anticipated starting salary range for candidates located in Ottawa, ON, and expressing interest in this position is CAD $100,000 - $115,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as location, technical experience, skills, certifications, etc.
