Job description

Location: Candidates in the Columbus, Ohio and Jacksonville, Florida area are preferred; remote employment is also possible for candidates in Indiana, Michigan, North Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, and Alabama.

Compensation Range: $86,000 - $89,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications 

Join our team as a Treasury  Operations Supervisor!  

Are you a detail-driven leader with a passion for financial operations and team development? Do you have demonstrated experience with interbank transaction processing? Corporate One Federal Credit Union is seeking a Treasury Operations Supervisor with a solid understanding of the process and flow of transactions between financial institutions, including an understanding of how funds are initiated, routed, and settled across banking systems. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure the seamless execution of daily cash operations and uphold rigorous audit standards.


What You’ll Do:

•    Supervise and guide a tenured team responsible for reconciliations, cash funding, real-time payments, and transaction processing.

•    Set up and/or verify new vendors in AP system.

•    Review monthly billing totals using a six-month lookback to identify, document, and explain variances or discrepancies.

•    Manage share draft settlements and exception clearing with precision.

•    Lead system implementations and upgrades, including testing and procedure development.

•    Serve as a key partner to the AVP, Treasury Operations, providing continuity in cash and investment management.

•    Participate in after-hours and weekend testing of Real Time Payments and FedNow systems.


What We’re Looking For:  

•    Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

•    A proactive leader with strong supervisory experience and minimum of five years progressive experience in accounting operations including cash management, and reconciliations. 

•    Solid understanding of the process and flow of transactions between financial institutions, including an understanding of how funds are initiated, routed, and settled across baking systems. 

•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and problem-solving abilities, and detail and deadline oriented.

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Advanced capability in Excel is essential.  Familiarity with Frontier Reconciliation Software, Real Time Payments, FedNow, OSI, and billing/accounts payable systems.
