Job description

About the Role

We are seeking an Administration Officer to join our team in Mackay. This is a permanent full time position, Monday to Friday. The position offers a varied scope of work, combining general administration, Excel-based tasks, data entry, and freight manifesting within a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately reconciling driver paperwork upon receipt

  • Completing data entry using internal transport management systems

  • Preparing and processing freight manifests using internal systems

  • Supporting and liaising with the Internal Operations Team

  • Running reports and analysing operational data

  • Performing general administrative duties, including invoice generation, transport management system reconciliation, and approval processing

What You’ll Bring

  • Demonstrated accuracy and efficiency in data entry

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities

  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate in a small team environment

  • Previous experience in the transport industry (advantageous but not essential)
