Role: AI Solutions Specialist Location: US remote Duration: 3–6-month contract with potential to convert
Summary of Position
The AI Solutions Specialist is responsible for partnering with business and technology stakeholders to design, integrate, and deliver AI powered conversational agents and workflow automation solutions across the enterprise. This role leads to the technical implementation of AI platforms and agent development tools, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant solutions that drive productivity and business value.
Deep coding expertise is not required. However, the candidate must understand modern technology stacks, AI concepts, and system integration terminology.
The ideal candidate will thrive in an evolving, fast-changing environment, where AI capabilities and standards continue to mature.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.
Lead the technical set up and integration of conversational AI platform & agent development studio within the enterprise environment. - copilot agents preferred, deploying across enterprise not for personal use.
Analyze business processes, data flows, and system architectures to support AI solution design.
Design for production: latency, reliability, failure modes, observability
Design, build, and architect and deploy agentic AI systems (MCP, tool-use, function calling) based on requirements and scaling to ensure improved productivity. Utilize data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS for data orchestration, governance, and compliance.
Ensure seamless interoperability of agents across Microsoft and other enterprise applications as required.
Build and optimize RAG/GraphRAG pipelines - embeddings, vector stores, retrieval tuning Apply best practices for data security, identity management, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Integrate LLMs into enterprise systems via APIs and custom tooling Collaborate with cybersecurity and product teams to build robust AI solutions
Test new AI agent enhancements, integrations, and fixes prior to release to ensure quality and expected behavior.
Track and analyze performance metrics, including response quality, speed, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of AI agents and automated workflows.
Continuously optimize AI solutions based on performance data, user feedback, and evolving business needs.
Document requirements, solution designs, architecture diagrams, and integration approaches in a clear and concise manner.
Contribute to internal standards, reusable patterns, and best practices for AI agent and automation development.
Support knowledge sharing and enablement across technical and business teams utilizing a start-up mentality and Learning mindset
Qualifications Expected for Position
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
Advanced certifications or coursework in cloud platforms, data engineering, or AI/ML preferred.
5+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems integration, systems engineering (DevOps, SRE, platform) automation engineering, or applied AI roles.
1+ year demonstrated ability to design, build, and deploy AI-powered agents, workflows, or conversational applications.
Hands-on LLM integration: RAG architectures, prompt management, model selection and latest trends
Experience operating in regulated or security-conscious environments, supporting compliance and governance requirements.
Experience working with modern data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS) to support data orchestration, access control, and compliance.
SDLC discipline: version control, testing, deployment automation, rollback strategies.
Ability to assess AI solution feasibility, including data readiness, scalability, performance, and cost considerations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
