Roles and Responsibilities
  • Identify systems and services runninr specific segments of DC infrastructure in several locations.
  • Work with business owners to identify related applications, their business impact and potential maintenance windows.
  • Plan, documnet and test (if needed) procédures to migrate systems and services from existing DC network segments (Cisco Nexus & Fabric Path) to new DC infrastructure following client's standards, rules, policies and processes.
  • Documents applied changes in client's KB's, diagrams and other documentation sources.
Deliverables
  • Analyzing initial project requirements.
  • Identifying & ordering required hardware and software components.
  • Building and testing POC environments to validate solutions.
  • Creating low-level design of the solution.
  • Implementing target solution in NON-PROD and PROD environments, including physical on-prem and Public Cloud-based deployments.
  • Working with other teams if integration with other systems/services is required.
  • Preparing and updating.detailed documentation for the solution.
  • Participation T2C process for knowledge transfer. 
Required Skills
  • Deep understanding of N2K, N5K, N7K switches. 
  • Knowledge of other protocols and technologies: IP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, ARP, Proxy-ARP, LACP, DHCP, HSRP, VRRP, NTP, SNMP (V2 & V3).
  • Knowledge of other protocols and solutions: TACAGS+, RADIUS, IPSEC, LAN-Security.
  • Experience with Public Cloud providers: Azure, GCP is an asset. 
  • Experience with MPLS technologies: L3VPN, LDP.
  • Experience with Alcatel router is an asset.
  • Understanding of Load-Balancing and WAN Optimiztion.
