Job description


The role of Amazon Connect Developer is to design, develop, and optimize cloud-based contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS architecture, contact flow development, and integrating third-party tools and APIs to deliver seamless and scalable customer experiences.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Amazon Connect contact flows, queues, routing profiles, and Lex chatbots.
  • Integrate Amazon Connect with other AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • Implement real-time and historical reporting, including Amazon Connect Contact Lens and AWS CloudWatch.
  • Develop custom solutions using AWS Lambda (Node.js, Python), API Gateway, and other AWS tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
  • Maintain and optimize existing Amazon Connect infrastructure for performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to call routing, contact flows, and integrations.
  • Ensure compliance with security and privacy regulations in cloud communications.
 
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying solutions with Amazon Connect.
  • Proficiency with AWS services, especially Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, and IAM.
  • Experience with contact center technologies, CTI, IVR, ACD, and telephony protocols.
  • Programming skills in JavaScript (Node.js) or Python.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Lex, Polly, Connect Streams API, and RESTful APIs.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture and serverless application design.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with CRM integration (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk, ServiceNow).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., CodePipeline, Git, Jenkins).
  • Experience with Amazon Connect Wisdom or Contact Lens for analytics and AI/ML enhancements.
