Principal Quality Automation Architect

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a Principal Quality Automation Architect to define and lead enterprise-wide automation strategy across AI-driven applications, data platforms, and cloud environments. This role will be responsible for designing scalable, modern test automation frameworks that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of solutions built across AWS, Azure, Tableau, Power BI, and DealCloud CRM integrations.

This is a highly strategic, hands-on leadership role focused on building next-generation QA automation capabilities, particularly for AI/ML systems, data pipelines, and distributed cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise test automation architecture and strategy across applications, data, and AI platforms
  
• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, data, and AI/ML validation
  
• Establish automation standards, tools, and best practices across AWS and Azure ecosystems
  
• Architect automation solutions for data pipelines (ETL/ELT), data lakes, and analytics platforms
  
• Build frameworks to validate outputs from AI/ML models, including accuracy, consistency, and regression testing
  
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality validation
  
• Drive shift-left testing practices, embedding quality early in the development lifecycle
  
• Oversee performance, load, and resilience testing strategies for high-scale applications
  
• Partner with architecture, data, and engineering teams to ensure testability and observability
  
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA engineers and automation teams
  
• Evaluate and implement modern tools for test automation, data validation, and AI testing
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or QA Architecture
  
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-level automation frameworks
  
• Strong hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
  
• Experience with API testing frameworks and microservices architectures
  
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
  
• Strong experience validating data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data platforms
  
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and DevOps practices
  
• Strong programming/scripting experience (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript)
  
• Expertise in SQL and data validation techniques
